Common Greenshank Tringa nebularia

In 2008, driven by a passion for Scotland and its wildlife, I approached the Scottish Government and asked for permission to film nesting Greenshanks. Permission was refused.

In 2008, driven by a chauffeur in a flashy limo, Donald Trump approached the Scottish Government (albeit with £1 billion in spare cash to spend) and asked for permission to destroy a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Permission was granted.

What a topsy turvy world we live in.

Meanwhile, as I save up for my next attempt to extricate a licence from the Scottish Government, I will content myself with these photos and vidcaps obtained from an anonymous source. They were recorded at a site in North West Europe.
